Another Dog Attack

Category: Capital Radio News

A woman has been taken to hospital after being attacked by two large dogs in Canberra's South.

ACT Policing was called to the scene yesterday morning after the attack was reported, and Domestic Animal Services seized the two dogs, described as Rottweilers.

The 32-year-old was walking her own dog in the suburb of Lyons when the attack happened.

The woman sustained leg and arm injuries, before being taken to Canberra Hospital.

It comes just a fortnight after the death of a Watson woman, who was viciously mauled by her own pitbull.

The ACT Government is in the process of rolling out a plan to crack down on dangerous dogs and punish their owners.
