Hackett woman fails to stop for Police

A 27-year-old Hackett woman will face court after failing to stop for Police.

Just after 12.30 last night, Police observed a white Peugeot run a red light in Fyshwick.

A patrol car followed the vehicle to Dairy Flat Road where offices attempted the pull over the driver.

They failed to stop and continued onto Newcastle Street.

Road spikes had to be deployed.

The vehicle continuing onto Canberra Avenue before finally stopping in Griffith.

The Driver was arrested.

The woman faces a range of offences including: dangerous driving, driving without a licence, failing to stop and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

Further investigations also led to police laying more drug possession charges, as well as possession of a prohibited weapon.
