The Videos were posted to Tik Tok, a platform frequently used by younger Australians.

MLA's have to seek permission to film inside the assembly, Speaker Joy Burch reprimanded Mr Parton for failing to do so.

Mr Parton filmed one of the videos in front a portrait of former Labor Chief Minister Jon Stanhope, suggesting he supported the Liberals Pledge to plant one million trees.

In another video, he accused the speaker of 'destroying democracy'.

Ms Burch told the assembly using photographs of the assembly facilities to promote a Liberal party election policy is clearly in breach of Assembly guidelines.

Mr Parton was suspended for three hours.
