Canberrans could be fined $8000 for ignoring coronavirus advice

Category: Capital Radio News

There are now just four reasons Canberrans should be leaving their house and that's to shop for essential items, seek medical treatment, exercise or go to work/study.

The ACT Government will soon enforce fines of up to eight thousand dollars for anyone caught breaking the rules, but for now Canberrans will just be issued with a stern warning.

Three news cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the territory in the past 24 hours, lifting the total number of patients in Canberra to 80.
