Hope for Canberra toddler still trapped in China

Category: Capital Radio News

The Canberra parents of a toddler trapped in China are in talks with the federal government about travelling overseas to bring their daughter home.

The Ngunnawal couple sent their 18-month-old daughter Chloe to stay with her grandmother when smoke from the bushfires was blanketing the capital, but she's been trapped there since the coronavirus outbreak.

Her father says he's been talking with the government about joining any further evacuation flights so that Chloe can be brought home.
