Canberra parents plead for daughter to return from China

Category: Capital Radio News

A Canberra couple is pleading to be reunited with their 18-month-old daughter, who's been stranded in Hubei province due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Ngunnawal parents sent their daughter Chloe to stay with her grandmother in China, so she could avoid the bushfire smoke blanketing Canberra.

They're now asking the federal government for help after Chloe was unable to join either of the two evacuation flights to Australia, due to her young age.
