Young Canberrans are faring well compared to national data

Young people, aged zero to 25, in the ACT are faring well, when compared to national data.

A whole-of-government report has explored how children and young people in the ACT are faring against key indicators.

The report provides an overview national health, wellbeing, learning and development of young people aged zero to 25.

The report shows more children in Canberra are fully immunised, with the rate increasing by more than 7 percent between 2016 and 2017 and the number of year 12 graduates who are employed or studying has increased to over 93 percent.

The report also indicates a decrease in the number of high school students who use drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
